Poured-in-place (PIP), is a widely chosen unitary surfacing option comprising two layers: a base layer designed for attenuation and a subsequent colored wear layer. If there’s no need for attenuation properties, the installation of the base layer can be omitted over concrete or asphalt. The initial step involves placing the low-density base layer, allowing it to cure overnight, and then applying the wear layer. UltraMax PIP sets the standard high by only utilizing the best materials available. Our surfacing is designed for application over asphalt, concrete, or compacted stone surfaces. It is advisable to install it within the temperature range of 40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and it is important to consider humidity, as it can influence the overall temperature during the installation process.

Our PIP product is IPEMA certified up to 15’ and is ADA compliant per ASTM 1951.
